Rollie Renovations

When the Crabby Ol' Man and I were searching for the right RV, we (I) knew that I would need a crafting space. We each had our list of "Not Giving On" qualities and that was on mine. Since the new Rollie House had an L-shaped couch PLUS 2 recliners, we knew there was room for my craft space.

We started by removing 2 of the dining chairs and hanging them in the Rollie Garage. That left us room for the 2 of us to eat dinner at the table (like THAT ever happens!) but we have the 2 chairs with us in the event that we have company for dinner (like THAT ever happens, either!) Then we took out the 2 recliners.

This opened up a huge space for us to build shelves and a desk, as well as a spot to put the puppy crate. Crabby had to relocate the light switch slightly, but other than that the tall bookshelf fit perfectly around the valance and window. I would rather the cubby bookshelf had been more centered, but it worked out since it helped to keep the desk square. I opted not to put the piece on the backside of the desk so that I could slide it out into the room. This allowed me to work from either side, so if Poppy were watching a movie, I didn't have to sit with my back to it.
