The Rollie Wine Cellar

One of our favorite wines is from Water 2 Wine. They ferment their wines in house, so they are much lower in preservatives and sulfites and so have a much better flavor without that funny, back of your throat red wine ack. Being a member has perks, too - like 2 bottles and 2 glasses of wine per month. Then, they have this fabulous sale a few times a year they call a "Batch Sale". Batch sales are where you purchase a full batch of one of their ferments. Batches are already discounted, then during the sale they give their club members 20% off the discounted price. Batch sales make me happy. :-D

Happily, just after we decided to do this full time RV thing, Water 2 Wine held a batch sale. We thought it was a perfect opportunity to stock up for on the road. LOL I may have ordered 4 batches.....LOL 2 of my all time favorite, Montepulciano, and 1 each of Rattlesnake (one of their red blends) and Primitivo. We even got to give them our own label for the bottles! So I sat down and drew this. (I left a blank spot at the bottom for them to put in the name of the wine.) Then I took it to Office Depot and they scanned it so it would be digitized. Ms. Kim took over from there. She did a lovely job with them! See?

So we went down, maxed out the credit card and picked up our cases of wine with our beautiful label on them! The trouble is, where in the world do you put 6 cases of wine in an RV?? LOL You can't store them in the belly because they'll get too warm, and we don't want all that yummy wine turning into vinegar! Good thing we decided not to get the washer and dryer. We decided to turn that big old empty closet into our "wine cellar". I sat down with all the boxes and did a little rearranging. We wanted to be able to bring one case out to the walk in pantry at a time, so I put 6 Montepulciano and 3 each of the Rattlesnake and Primitivo in each case.

But look! There's room to spare! We could've bought more wine!!! LOL
